Day 30 of my June Challenge
Well my June challenge of playing my guitar and singing everyday this month is coming to an end and I am pretty happy with the result because I am now back on track and my playing is sounding a lot better. I have been on vacation for the last ten days and I managed to get some practice in but it was difficult to sing in my hotel rooms because I had to keep my voice really low as to not disturb my neighbors. When I return home, I will continue with my daily practice and I will be able to sing out once again. I do not know what is in store for July but I have a few hours to come up with my new challenge.

Lucky 13th Day of My June Challenge
I am so thrilled with the progress I have made in just thirteen short days. I forgot how miraculous things happen when you just show up to put in your practice time on a daily basis. My fingers are starting to settle down instead of slipping and sliding all over the place and my singing voice is sounding a lot stronger.

Day 7 of My June Challenge-Guitar and Singing
I just finished my evening practice and my fingers are sore but my singing left me with a big grin on my face. I am so happy to get back to practicing everyday. By the time christmas rolls around, our voices and our playing will be showtime ready!

June's Challenge-Off to a Sore Start
Due to my May challenge of reading a book a week, I really fell off when it came to practicing my guitar lessons and as a result, my fingers are paying the price, ouch, man they hurt! For me this June challenge is more about the singing that goes along with the guitar playing because, I wanted to improve my voice. Before I started learning the to play the guitar, I had no idea how to harmonize but because of my learning to play chords, my voice seemed to follow suit. So this month I will play and sing everyday and my voice will be the better for it.

June Challenge is on!
For the month of June, I have decided to play my guitar and sing everyday this month. Lately I have fallen off when it comes to sitting down and practicing everyday so I am challenging myself to get back on track. Every christmas my husband and I put on a show for our children on christmas eve and even though it is corny, it has become part of our holiday tradition but in order to make it good we have got to be consistent with our playing and singing. I am most excited to practice singing because I do not do it as often as I play my guitar and I like my voice which gets better and sweeter with a lot of practice.
