Week Three of my Read a Book a Week Challenge

I guess I should say, read a Harry Potter book a week challenge and why did I get myself into this!! I am enjoying myself but the books keep getting bigger and bigger. This week's book is 712 pages but it really goes fast because believe it or not, little children read this book. When I was a kid, I would have freaked out if someone handed me a book this big. It is a really fun read but it is starting to get in the way of all of my other reading and I find myself reading all day. It is a good thing that I have also re- started exercising daily so that all of this sitting won't have my butt spreading all over the place.

Week Two of my Read a Book a Week Challenge

So I finished Harry Potter, the Chamber of Secrets a day or two behind schedule but that was due to my children taking me away for my Mothers Day weekend. I loved the second book in the series, having already read the first, I enjoy being immersed in this magical world. There were actually a few scary moments in this book and that surprised me. So this morning I will crack open the third year at Harry Potter's magical school and will re-emerge next week this time to tell you how or if I enjoyed the journey. Have a magical week.

Day 1 of my May- Harry Potter Read 1 Book a Week

In July, the Harry Potter movie of the last book will come out and I am attempting to read all of the books, starting with the second book, in one month. I do not know that I can pull this off because that means that I have got to stay put this month, no ripping and running, only reading. May will be a month filled with magic, and this is a great thing because the mundane world has been a real drain lately and I need to escape into the world of witches and wizards. As I complete a book, I will do a post, so instead of posting every day, I can use that time to do my reading.
