January 2012- Back To My Lessons Challenge

January, my birthday month, has been wonderful!! I managed to get myself back on track as far as my lessons are concerned, I am studying again. Now that I am back on my path, I plan to really push myself this year so that I can make some real gains. Before I go to bed this evening, I will meditate and I will have achieved my biggest challenge this year which was to meditate everyday for one year and, I did it. I am so proud of me and my body mind spirit, thanks me. I was able to save myself through daily meditation, because prior to starting this challenge last February 1st, my mind was so fractured and I was sure that something was terribly wrong. But, after just a week of meditating, after not doing it for years, I felt the brain fog lifting. It was then that I decided to challenge myself to doing this for a year but now I know that I will continue this practice for as long as I can. So all in all, January has been a very fruitful month and I am still celebrating my birthday for at least a couple of more months!!

Day 103 of My 365 Day Meditation Challenge

I was suppose to do this post on day 100 but things got busy so here I am still doing my meditation after 103 days and I am loving all of the good things that have come out of this daily ritual. I am now exercising daily, doing my morning page(Julia Cameron-The Artist Way), I keep a daily meditation journal, this blog, study my spanish, play my guitar, read, read and read and my mind feels wonderful. I am hoping that my meditation will help me to get back to doing some painting. I will continue to meditate twenty minutes in the morning and evening and complete my challenge.

Day 30 of my April Challenge-Crystal and Stone Healing

April's challenge has been a wonderfully powerful for me. I have enjoyed interacting with all of my crystals as they helped to enhance and heal my life. These are just a few of my books on the subject. I plan to continue using my crystals and stones in my personal healing practice.

Day 50 of My 365 Day Meditation Challenge

Today is the 50th day of my 365 meditation challenge and this is quite an accomplishment. What started out as a 28 day challenge has now ballooned into so much more and I am excited to meet my new self at the completion of my year of meditating every day for twenty minutes twice a day. I am documenting it all in a special journal in which I make entries everyday.

A Challenging Month

For the month of February, I joined the 28 day meditation Challenge initiated by a website one of my friends posted on her FB page and it was life altering. I learned to meditate many decades ago and I did it religiously for years before dropping off and only doing it in times of great stress. For the last year and a half, I have been living in some kind of brain fog which I could not seem to escape and then along came this challenge and to my joy, I found myself emerging from the fog that had me trapped. When I started the challenge, I had no idea that my freedom would be the outcome, yet here I am on the other side and feeling better than I have felt in years. As a result of that challenge, I am continuing my meditation because it is so crucial to my mind/body/spirit health. So now I have decided to give myself a new challenge every month for a year. That means I have to come up with twelve life expanding monthly challenges, so here I go!!
